1. Controller and scope

The controller of personal data on preciz.si is PRECIZ d.o.o., Cesta XIV. divizije 5, 2000 Maribor, Slovenia. For privacy questions and requests to exercise your rights, contact info@preciz.si.

This policy covers visits to this website, communication with us and enquiries about our products and services. Purchases at shop.scale-monitor.com and the use of linked applications are subject to their own terms and privacy notices.

2. Data we process

When you contact us, we process the information you provide: your name, email address, telephone number, company, message and any attachments. Service and technical enquiries may also include a location, equipment details and a description of the problem. Please provide only information needed to handle your request.

Visits also involve technical data needed for the connection and security, such as an IP address, requested page address, request time and browser information. If you allow analytics, website visit and usage data and analytics cookie identifiers are also processed.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We use enquiry data to respond, prepare an offer, arrange a service and continue the conversation. Where this involves entering into or performing a contract with you, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For other business contacts, the basis is our legitimate interest in handling incoming questions and working with business partners (Article 6(1)(f)).

We process necessary technical data based on our legitimate interest in protecting the website, preventing abuse and resolving technical problems (Article 6(1)(f)). Data required to meet legal obligations is processed under Article 6(1)(c). Analytics is enabled on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a)).

You do not have to provide enquiry data, but we cannot respond without contact details and a description of your request. Declining analytics does not prevent you from using the website.

4. Forms and abuse prevention

Submitted form details and attachments are emailed to the relevant PRECIZ department. You may also contact us directly by email or telephone.

Forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. When the check loads, Cloudflare processes technical connection, browser and device data to distinguish ordinary visits from automated abuse. Our server verifies the resulting token; it does not send your enquiry content or attachments to Turnstile verification. This protection is separate from analytics.

5. Cookies and your settings

We save your analytics choice in your browser’s local storage under preciz-consent-v2. This lets us respect your decision on later visits; it remains until you change your choice or clear website data in your browser.

Google Analytics loads only after you select “Accept all cookies”. This permits the analytics cookies currently used; it does not consent to newsletters or future advertising tools. Selecting “Essential only” keeps analytics off.

You can change consent on this page or through “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time. Withdrawal stops further tracking and removes this website’s Google Analytics cookies from your browser. It does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal or automatically erase data already sent.

6. Google Analytics 4

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a Google service, to understand visits and website use. Data includes, for example, pages visited, visit times, device and browser information, and identifiers in _ga and _ga_* cookies. Visit data is sent to Google.

Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled. Our pageview configuration removes URL query parameters and fragments. Analytics does not load in the administration area or private previews.

Cookie lifetime depends on Google Analytics settings and browser restrictions. Withdrawing consent or clearing website data may remove cookies earlier. For questions about retention of previously collected analytics data and erasure requests, contact info@preciz.si.

7. Newsletters — a future option

Newsletter subscription is not yet available on this website. When introduced, it will be optional and separate from enquiries and cookie consent. On the basis of specific consent, we will use your email address and any additional information clearly identified at sign-up to send news about products, services and events.

Before sign-up, we will identify the sending provider and processing terms. You will be able to unsubscribe through a link in every message or by emailing info@preciz.si. After unsubscribing, we will stop sending newsletters; limited consent and unsubscribe records may be retained as needed to demonstrate and respect your choice.

8. Who may access data

Authorised PRECIZ personnel access data as needed for their work. Service providers may process necessary data, including email and IT support providers, Cloudflare for form protection and Google for consented analytics. We disclose data to competent authorities where required by law.

Links to the shop, social networks and other websites open services run by their respective operators, whose own privacy policies apply.

9. Processing outside the European Economic Area

Google and Cloudflare services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Providers’ safeguards, such as a valid adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, are relevant to such transfers. 10. How long we retain data

We retain communications and enquiries while handling them and for necessary follow-up. If an enquiry leads to a contract, associated documentation is also subject to requirements for contract performance, statutory retention and establishing or defending legal claims.

We retain technical data as needed for operation, security and investigation of incidents. Retention takes account of the purpose of the data, the nature of the request and applicable obligations; we do not retain data simply because it was once collected. 11. Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation; you may object to direct marketing at any time. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Send requests to info@preciz.si. To protect your data, we may ask for information needed to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month; if a legally permitted extension is necessary, we will inform you.

You may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia. Contact details and guidance are available at www.ip-rs.si.

12. Security and policy changes

We restrict access to data and use measures to protect communication and prevent unauthorised use. Please avoid including information in attachments that is unnecessary for handling your request.

This website does not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. When processing changes, we update this policy and the date at the top. Before newsletter sign-up is introduced, we will add details of its actual implementation.
