A counting scale calculates quantity from total weight and the average weight of a reference piece. A representative sample, consistent pieces and suitable scale capacity and readability are essential. For small pieces and larger containers, a counting system with a separate reference balance and platform may be appropriate.

How does scale rental work?
Send your dates, duration and task. We then agree the model, documentation, price, collection and return arrangements. Before use, we establish suitable positioning and basic settings and, for stocktaking, the reference sampling method.
What should I include in my enquiry?
Include the start and end dates, location, number of scales, maximum load and container size. For counting, add the approximate weight of an individual piece. Specify any need for battery power, data transfer or particular metrology documentation.

How much does scale rental cost?
We quote based on the type and number of scales, rental duration and agreed supporting services. Send your preferred dates and intended use.
Are rental scales calibrated?
PRECIZ offers calibrated rental scales. If you need a specific certificate type or calibration scope, state this in your enquiry so we can coordinate documentation for the selected equipment.
Is the listed scale available on my dates?
We check availability for your dates and rental duration. The model list does not show live stock; the model and reservation are confirmed by agreement.
Can a counting scale count very light pieces?
Selection depends on piece weight and variation. Tell us the approximate piece weight and quantity per container. For demanding tasks, we can assess a counting system with a separate reference balance.
Is a rental scale suitable for my regulated application?
Before renting, explain how you will use the result. Calibration alone does not constitute legal verification; we check equipment and documentation against the specific scale and intended use.
How do I arrange collection and return?
We agree the method and dates for collection and return as part of the rental arrangement, together with accessories, power supply and operating instructions.
