Connect the scale
Neutron connects to the communication interface of the scale or indicator. UART, RS-232 or RS-485 is available depending on the version.
Configure communication
We configure serial settings, data exchange and the network connection. Wi-Fi, Ethernet and Bluetooth BLE are available depending on the version and application.
Integrate weighing data into your system
A local application, Scale Monitor, a private cloud or another software solution can receive weighing results. Two-way communication also supports commands available on the connected scale.
We check compatibility against the scale model, connector and communication protocol.

How do you choose a connection for your scale?
To check compatibility, send us the scale manufacturer and model, photos of the connectors, and the destination for your weighing results. Include the manual or communication protocol documentation if available. This helps us specify the module and integration approach.

What is CloudScaleLink Neutron?
A connectivity module transferring data from a compatible serial scale to an application, business system or cloud. It upgrades existing scale connectivity.
Can I connect my existing scale?
Often, yes. Send the scale model, communication-interface details and, if available, its protocol. We will assess the appropriate module and connection method.
Does CloudScaleLink support only one scale brand?
No. It connects equipment from different manufacturers. Compatibility depends on the interface, electrical connection and communication protocol.
My scale manufacturer is not listed. Can it be connected?
An unlisted manufacturer has not yet been officially tested; this does not mean the scale is unsupported. Send the model and photographs of its connections so we can assess the options.
Must I use Scale Monitor?
No. CloudScaleLink can connect to your application, local server, private cloud or another compatible platform. Scale Monitor adds ready-made weighing applications and data management.
Is internet required?
Local communication with an application or server on your network does not necessarily need internet. External cloud services require an appropriate network connection.
Can my application send commands to the scale?
Yes, communication can be bidirectional. Available commands, such as reading weight or taring, depend on the connected scale model and protocol.
Does CloudScaleLink store weighing records?
CloudScaleLink is primarily a connectivity module. The connected application, such as Scale Monitor or your information system, handles records, item and user associations and reports.
Can it join a business network with advanced authentication?
Neutron supports enterprise Wi-Fi authentication and certificate-based connections. Agree the configuration with your IT team.
What information is needed for a proposal?
Send the scale model, connector photographs and a description of the destination system, plus the number of scales and a brief workflow description.
