Count similar parts by their mass for order preparation, packing and stock checks.
Select the product and tare the container if needed.
Place a known number of parts on the scale or use a validated product reference.
The system calculates or recalls average piece weight.
Add parts while monitoring the count and target quantity.
Save the result, then print a label or transfer data as configured.
A representative reference matters
Piece weights may vary. The reference sample must represent the actual batch, and the scale must suit both individual piece weight and total quantity.
- Calculate average piece weight by sampling or enter it manually.
- Recall saved references from the product database.
- Target counts and tolerances support packing.
- Check reference validity when the product or batch changes.

Do we need a dedicated counting scale?
Scale Monitor performs the counting calculation, so the scale does not need a built-in counting mode. It must provide suitable measurement performance and compatible data transfer. We assess suitability using your parts.
Can we save piece weight for each item?
Yes. Save average piece weight in the product database and recall it by selecting the product. Check the reference when products or batches change.
Does the workflow operate without internet?
Neutron NT runs applications and stores data locally. When connected to the internet, it can be managed from Scale Monitor and automatically sends data to the cloud. After an outage, records synchronise when the connection returns.
