Let your scale communicate with your ERP, MES and WMS.
A measurement becomes useful when it reaches the right work order, batch, stock movement or business document.
Our solutions Neutron and Cloud Scales are designed to connect weighing with digital systems. Scale Monitor adds a ready-to-use weighing application and cloud API, so you do not need to develop your own application to capture, display and store measurements.

HOW WE CONNECT WEIGHING
The right approach depends on your process.
Some systems need a direct local weight reading. Others require a complete weighing record, user interface and measurement history. Both approaches are possible.
01 / DEVICE
Neutron: connectivity at the source
Neutron connects weighing electronics or an existing scale to local and cloud systems. Depending on the version, supported interfaces and protocols include TCP/IP, Modbus, MQTT, WebSocket or HTTP/REST. It also supports connections to PLC, SCADA and your own software.
When planning a new weighing station, choose a scale with built-in connectivity. Cloud Scales combine weighing and digital data transfer, making integration part of the design from the start. Available interfaces depend on the specific model.
Scale Monitor displays and stores weighing records and lets you configure workflows, fields and users. Your ERP, MES or WMS can retrieve data through REST API, or Scale Monitor can send it to your system's REST interface. You do not need a separate application for the weighing operation.
For an existing scale, we first check its communication interface and CloudScaleLink Neutron upgrade options. For new equipment, we select a suitable connected scale.
TWO DIRECTIONS OF EXCHANGE
The API connects weighing records to your system.
A
Your system reads from Scale Monitor
ERP, MES or WMS calls the Scale Monitor REST API to retrieve current or historical weighing data needed for its workflow.
Example: MES retrieves measurements to close a work order.B
Scale Monitor sends data to you
Following an agreed trigger, Scale Monitor sends the weighing record to your system's REST API in the agreed format.
Example: WMS receives dispatch data when weighing is confirmed.
Transfer direction, fields, identifiers and error handling rules are defined for each integration. The target system must support receiving and processing the data.
WHERE DATA ADDS VALUE
From measurement to action.
ERP
Business event
Goods receipt, issue or billing is based on actual weight. The result is linked to an order, partner or product and entered into the business record.
MES
Production workflow
Weight is recorded against a work order, batch or production step. The operator sees weighing instructions, while the system receives data for traceability and control.
WMS
Warehouse flow
At goods receipt, picking or dispatch, the weighing record is linked to the product, pallet or shipment. The data supports quantity checks and dispatch documentation.
A weighing record with the right context
A number alone is insufficient for useful integration. Weight gains context when linked to the scale identifier, time, product, batch, work order or user. Together, we define which data is created at the station and how it maps into your system.
Start with one workflow
Select a weighing station, define the capture event and data recipient, then test the format, transfer acknowledgement and error handling before extending the solution to other sites.
DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION
One ecosystem from scale to data.
PRECIZ can coordinate weighing equipment selection, Neutron, Scale Monitor configuration and the data interface specification. Your IT team or ERP/MES/WMS provider handles the target system side. Responsibilities for data and process rules remain clearly defined.

Questions about connecting scales to ERP, MES and WMS
Can we connect a scale to ERP, MES or WMS without developing our own weighing application?
Yes. Neutron or a Cloud Scale captures measurements, while Scale Monitor can provide the weighing interface, data fields, users and record storage. Use Scale Monitor REST API or send data to your business system's REST interface. The ERP, MES or WMS side still requires data reception, mapping and processing.
What is the difference between connecting directly to Neutron and through Scale Monitor?
Choose a direct connection when a local application or controller must communicate with the device using a supported protocol. Scale Monitor provides a cloud layer for displaying, storing and organising weighing data and exchanging it with other systems through an API.
Do we need to replace our existing scales?
Not necessarily. If the existing scale has a suitable communication interface, we can assess connection through CloudScaleLink Neutron. For new equipment, Cloud Scales are designed for connectivity from the outset.
Can weighing data be sent to our system automatically?
Yes. Scale Monitor can send data to your REST API on a defined event. Alternatively, your system can retrieve data from Scale Monitor. We define the record structure, trigger and exchange rules according to the process.
Which data can we link to a measurement?
Depending on workflow configuration, weight can be linked to a scale identifier, timestamp, product, batch, work order, user or other fields. We define the dataset and mapping during integration design.
Does weighing work during an internet outage?
Neutron NT runs applications locally and synchronises measurements with Scale Monitor when the connection returns. Online access to the cloud API is unavailable during the outage. For other versions, we check local operation against the model and configuration.
